The 流利 (Fluent) role:

This role is assigned by the mod team. It is intended to distinguish non-natives on the server who have reached a high level of Mandarin fluency based on our assessment of your abilities, and it is based on the B2 level of the CEFR.

To be considered for it, DM Fighter to express your interest, and say which timezone you are located in as well as your time availability. We will schedule a Discord call with 3 parts: a conversation where you should answer the questions asked in as much detail as you can, a news article or an excerpt from a novel (either in Simplified or Traditional, your choice, and you can also choose whether to do the news article or the novel) that you will be asked to read out loud, as well as a listening portion, in which your comprehension will be tested. The Discord call will be recorded (by participating in the test for this role, you give your consent to be recorded), and the recording will be shared with 1-2 native speakers. The natives and Fighter will discuss your performance and determine whether you meet the requirements for the role.
